Dr. Lucy Slutsky utilizes the latest in dental technology and equipment to ensure that each patient achieves optimal treatment results. Some of the state of the art technology we offer in our West Orange dental office includes, digital x-rays, intra-oral digital photography, computer-controlled local anesthetic delivery and visual treatment plan presentation software.
Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is the latest technology used to take dental x-rays. This technique uses an electronic sensor (instead of x-ray film) that captures and stores the digital image on a computer. This image can be instantly viewed and enlarged helping the dentist and dental hygienist detect problems easier. Digital x-rays reduce radiation 80-90% compared to the already low exposure of traditional dental x-rays.
The intra-oral camera broadcasts images for both you and Dr. Slutsky to see. Instantaneously, the images of your teeth are sent to a computer screen so that both you and Dr. Slutsky can review the findings together. This new technology allows you to relax in your dental chair while simultaneously observing a real-time movie of the inside of your mouth magnified beyond normal size on an adjacent computer monitor. Not only does this make it simple to see and understand what is happening in your mouth, but it makes it simple for us to keep accurate dental records from one visit to our West Orange dental office to the next.
STA System- Computer-Controlled Local Anesthetic Delivery
The STA System offers No Waiting, No Pain & No Numbness. The STA System uses the most advanced injection technology that allows Dr. Slutsky to deliver anesthetic quickly and painlessly and without the numbness that usually results from a standard injection of anesthetic. With the STA System even the most anxious patient can visit the dentist without fear.
GURU- Visual Treatment Plan Presentation.
Treatment plan software allows you, the patient, to better understand the treatment West Orange dentist Dr. Lucy Slutsky is recommending, so you can fully participate in your oral health care decisions.
